The facial consists of a mild glycolic acid and retinol peel (the ‘fire’) to
remove the very top layer of the epidermis and stimulate collagen production.
The peel may tingle, itch or feel a little hot, but this is very mild.
The peel solution is removed after about 5 minutes and the skin is neutralized.
Then, a cooling masque (the ‘ice’) consisting of skin-plumping hyaluronic acid,
herbal antioxidants and soothing aloe vera is applied. The cooling masque
causes a refreshing tingle on your skin, and stays on for about 10 minutes
while you relax in serenity.
After the treatment, which takes about 30 minutes, your skin may be slightly
pink in color. This will subside within approximately 24 hours and is very
mild.
